Burley Browne 'On a Roll' with another Investment Sale

General | 01.08.2017

Following instruction by a private investor, Burley Browne have successfully disposed of 45 Commercial Street in Rothwell, a two storey, end of terrace retail investment property. The sale follows on from successful lease renewal negotiations with the tenants, Greggs, earlier this year.

Ben Nicholson, Associate Director of Burley Browne comments, “Freehold investment opportunities remain relatively rare within the commercial property market and this sale is further evidence of the continued demand. Interest for freehold premises has widened and Burley Browne are optimistic that the trend for freehold commercial opportunities continues. We are delighted to have concluded this matter in a relatively short period.”

The purchaser was represented by fellow PAI Members, Naylors based in Newcastle. Fergus Laird, Director, Head of Property Investment at Naylors comments, “It was a pleasure concluding this deal with fellow PAI member Burley Brown to both our clients satisfaction.  Because of the trusting relationship between PAI members we were able to vouch for our respective clients and the transition went through very swiftly and painlessly.  We are hoping to do more together very soon.’
