Burley Browne has successfully agreed the terms for the sale of Unit 4C, Progress Drive in Cannock. The transaction was completed within 14 days from drafting of the initial Memorandum of Sale through to key handover, at an agreed sale price of £575,000 to George Taylor & Co Lifting Gear (Europe) Ltd.
The property formed part of a dual instruction from the same client for two neighbouring premises, both of which have generated high levels of interest since the original marketing.
Unit 4C Progress Drive comprises a detached workshop previously utilised as a finishing workshop incorporating a smaller sized warehouse to the side elevation, all of which extends to 7,389 sq ft. The main workshop is of modern portal frame construction benefiting from an eaves height of 4.5 metres and provides ample forecourt parking.
Ben Nicholson, Senior Associate Director at Burley Browne, comments “We are delighted to have formally completed on the sale of this building within a near record turnaround. At the time of marketing the property generated a high level of interest which is no surprise given the current lack of supply in the market. The sale marked a busy end to a very busy 2021 for Burley Browne and the Industrial Agency Team.”
Andrew Dixon & Co were appointed as joint selling agents.
