Graduate / New Qualified Surveyor – Agency

Burley Browne is looking to appoint a graduate or newly qualified surveyor to work within the Commercial Agency team assisting and supporting the Director and surveyors with all aspects of Agency.

The role will include site inspections for the preparation and submission of marketing appraisals and reports, collation, and analysis of comparable evidence, implementing the marketing of premises to let or for sale, carrying out viewings and undertaking negotiations and reporting updates and offers to clients, updating and maintaining property databases and handling day to day enquiries, with a view to developing and managing their own caseload over time.

We require a Real Estate graduate or newly qualified surveyor who is hardworking and prepared to learn and develop in a fast-paced working environment. Full APC support will be provided.

You will need a full clean driving licence and your own car. The position is available immediately.

Agency Surveyors (Retail/Office/Industrial) - Surveyor / Senior Surveyor / Associate levels

We are seeking experienced Commercial Property Agents to support the substantial growth of the agency team.

The ideal candidate will either be working exclusively within either the retail, office or industrial agency sector or potentially across all three. In addition to managing our current agency instructions for an existing and varied client base, you will be encouraged to develop new agency business across the West Midlands area.

The roles available will provide the opportunity to focus on one particular sector.

With the support of the agency team and the wider business, the ideal candidate should be experienced in the sale, letting and acquisition of commercial premises; be MRICS with a minimum of 1 years PQE. The role will include the use of the new technologies employed by the agency team to include Drone and virtual tour technology.

Lease Advisory – surveyor / senior surveyor

Burley Browne has a strong and growing pipeline of rent review and lease instructions across all sectors throughout the UK. The role will involve managing a wide variety of lease renewal and rent review instructions for our existing and varied landlord and tenant client base as well as supporting the Director with larger portfolios.

We require a surveyor / senior surveyor with at least one year’s PQE in a lease advisory role, ideally acting for both landlords and tenants but not a pre-requisite to the role.

Valuation Surveyor - Senior Surveyor / Associate / Director

We are seeking a Valuation Surveyor to manage and service our valuation workstream. Clients include pension funds, private individuals, SMEs, regional and national clients, and we undertake valuations for Pension, Tax, Asset and Acquisition purposes as well as a small proportion of secured lending.

The role has excellent prospects for progression and growth within the firm, with a clear and unobstructed career pathway. This position is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual.
Experience: Candidates should ideally be RICS Registered Valuers with at least 3 years PQE with a proven track record of carrying out commercial valuation work for secured and non-secured lending clients.
